Road to the Nationals - Top 25 Teams

On January 8, 2009 - two of America’s best of the best college football teams will meet in Miami, Florida to play for the BCS National Championship game and we have our guest sports writer, Shane Tucker from Tallahassee Community College, analyze Top 25 teams and predict who will eventaully play for the ultimate title!
Following are Shane’s prediction for each team and how they will fare in their own conferences and which team will travel the furthest on the Road to the Nationals.

1. GEORGIA BULLDOGS

Florida won it in 2006, LSU won it in 2007. The SEC is the toughest conference in America hands down and it’s almost impossible to get out if it unscathed like an Ohio State or a USC may in their conferences. This year’s SEC darling will be Georgia. QB Matthew Stafford is already an NFL prospect and RB Knowshon Moreno is the best back in the country. In Athens, they are comparing him to Herschel Walker. WR Mahammed Massaquoi and Kenneth Harris will lead the receivers. The OL is special and ready to open holes for Moreno. The defense is lead by MLB Dannell Ellerbe.
